Voting
The Consular Section provides assistance to US citizens interested in voting in elections taking place in the United States. Information about registration, schedules of elections, and absentee voting is available on line at: www.fvap.gov. The Consular Section also has information and is available to answer questions and assist citizens with registering as an absentee voter and filing an election ballot. Please note that American citizens may not cast a ballot or vote at the Embassy. It is each citizen’s responsibility to plan ahead to be sure that s/he is registered and receives an absentee ballot in time to vote.
