- U.S. passports
- Registration of the birth of U.S. citizens abroad
- Federal benefits

- Notarial services
Appointments are required for Consular Reports of Birth Abroad. To request an appointment, please use the Embassy's on-line appointment system. Please also note that requests for same-day appointments cannot be accomodated.
Appointments for most other consular services are recommended but not required. Although the Consular Section will continue to accept walk-in appointments during public hours, applicants with an appointment will have priority. Please use the Embassy's on-line appointment system to schedule a time.
Fees for consular services are collected in Cape Verdean escudos or U.S. dollars. Only cash is currently accepted; we cannot process payments by check, money order, or credit card.
